The 0787PR Dell 12‑x 3.5″ backplane to PCI‑E PERC Mini SAS HD SFF‑8643 hardware RAID cable is a factory‑specified interconnect designed for Dell PowerEdge R740XD servers. It links a 12‑bay 3.5‑inch drive backplane directly to a PCI‑E PERC RAID controller using a Mini SAS HD SFF‑8643 connector, enabling reliable high‑speed data paths for hardware‑based RAID configurations. As an OEM‑approved component, the cable ensures proper fit and electrical compatibility with Dell’s R740XD architecture, supporting the server’s native storage and RAID functionality without the need for additional adapters or modifications.
